If we are going to be people that impact the world around us and influence others in positive ways, we still need to get out and get in the midst of our target market.
Yes..of course… we really enjoy connecting with new friends and followers online. Everyone likes to be liked, followed, linked, Dugg and commented upon.. It’s human nature right?.. We are wired for relationships.
In order to be a true success in life and in your business you must form lasting, strong and solid relationships in person.
Having clear business objectives that include being mindful of your goals such as:
- Making a profit
- Offering a quality product
- Creating customer loyalty
Will keep your business, in business for the long haul. However, to communicate this, you need face-to-face interaction with people 1-on-1!
Social Media is relational and interactive by nature. But it will never replace the greater need, which is to build real~life business relationships in person.
This is Why:
1. Customers don’t always come to you organically. You need to go to them.. to grow them!
2. People enjoy the visual experience of getting to know you. First impressions are huge and People like to meet you.. before they can trust you!
3. You best represent yourself and your brand or business.. in person! Your Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other online accounts will never be as Awesome as You are!
4. Your computer is the tool that you use to portray yourself .. It assists you in your work. Your Computer does NOT define YOU!
As for me and my screen, we are going to continue to exist, and continue to advance our platforms, but I am committing to getting out there and calling on more clients and making new real~life connections with prospective clients and personally show them what I’ve got!!
